What are some good and bad things about the education system in your country?

 The k-education system is famous for fierce competition. Of course, other countries do the same, passion for the education of parents is reflected in children. The first step of passion is English kindergarten. In Globalization, the importance of English is that there is no need to say. To get into the flow, parents send their children to English kindergarten. When children get into kindergarten, their Korean skills are not enough but they have to learn not only Korean but also English. It might be stressful for them. The importance of English does not end here. There are many kinds of schools like international schools, foreign language high schools, and international high schools. Many parents want to send their kids to those schools. 

 At the age of elementary school, children usually go to many academies because of their parents. Surely, not all parents think that academies are essential for kids but many parents see their kids off to academies without their kid's opinion.

So it's the usual case that kids go to many academies after school and they came home late. This trend is not changed until high school. Sons and daughters go to academies whatever they want. Under the more passionate parents for education, their children take a private lessons despite the high price.

 What makes Korea a country where fierce competition is inevitable? In my opinion, the main thing is the perception that we go to university to get a nice job. It's right to some degree but it intensifies the phenomenon of unconditionally going to the university.

 In the Korean education system, there are not many courses for debate skills. Korean students have much knowledge and they can solve difficult problems (I think this is the only good thing about k-edncation system)but they are not very good at discussing. The education system must be changed to teach how to speak and write logically. Students need to learn about the relationship between arguments grounds. It's the most important thing in life.

I can think only of bad things now. haha
